Portrait fit adds canvas space without inventing a newly filmed vertical scene. Faces remain within a wide foreground and appear smaller than in a tight vertical crop. Higher resolution changes delivery dimensions.

Use one well-lit adult per image, with an unobstructed face mostly towards the camera. Include the complete hairstyle. Long, short, curly, straight or absent hair follows the photo, as do glasses and visible facial hair.

Include the clothes and sleeve coverage you want. Upper-body photos are accepted; wider views supply more outfit information while the face stays readable. Small prints, jewellery and unpictured details can vary. Avoid severe blur, deep shadow and group photos.
