## How to make a Toc Toc AI dance

Three steps, and only the first one needs you. The stopwatch is our own timing, not a promise. Want the story behind the trend? Read [how to make the Toc Toc AI dance video](https://airapduo.io/guides/how-to-make-the-toc-toc-ai-dance-video.md).

1. **Add one or two photos:** One clear photo of a person or a pet dances alone. Add a second photo (a friend who said yes, or your pet) and the two of you dance side by side, in sync. Then pick the trend look or your own clothes, and the room or the beach.
2. **Make it and wait:** Press make. Most Toc Toc AI dances finish in about 5 minutes, and we email you if you close the tab.
3. **Post it:** Your video already has the Toc Toc song in it, lined up with the moves. Post it as it is, or pick the official sound in TikTok.

## Inside a Toc Toc AI dance: the moves, second by second

We took the moves from eleven seconds of the trend and nothing else: no frame of any original video is in yours. The AI builds the room or the beach fresh around you, and when you add two photos it puts the two of you side by side, doing every move at the same moment.

The AI keeps your own face. With the trend look on, you get the glossy black bob wig and the baggy navy tracksuit; with it off, you dance in the clothes from your photo. Pets keep their own fur and get the wig, and they bounce along as real animals, often up on their back legs.

- **The hop back:** Seconds 0–1.5: you start right in front of the camera and hop backwards on one foot, knee up.
- **Knee up, hand up:** Seconds 1.5–4: one-foot hops on the spot, a hand beside your face.
- **Palms up, turn:** Seconds 4–7: forearms out, palms up, then side-on, still hopping.
- **Toc toc:** Seconds 7–9.5: a fist knocks twice on an invisible door, a kick back, a quick spin.
- **The finish:** Seconds 9.5–11: back to the camera, arms out low, straight face to the end.

## FAQ

### What is the Toc Toc dance trend?

A deadpan TikTok dance to "Toc toc", a 2015 song by French entertainer Patrick Sébastien: one-foot hops with the knee up and a fist knocking on an invisible door on the chorus. It took off in September 2026, and AI versions in a black bob wig and a navy tracksuit followed in October. We are not connected to the artist or to any creator.

### Is Toc Toc the same as Jean Phil?

Not quite. Jean Phil is a separate viral character with a blond bob and a moustache who never posted the dance himself; template makers mixed his bob-wig look into the Toc Toc dance, and the two names stuck together. Our trend look is the black bob wig and navy tracksuit from the dance videos.

### Can two of us do the Toc Toc AI dance together?

Yes. Add a second photo and the two of you dance side by side, every hop and knock at the same moment. It works with two people, a person and a pet, or two pets.

### Can my dog or cat do the Toc Toc dance?

Yes. Your pet stays a real animal with its own fur and bounces through the moves, often up on its back legs, in a little bob wig if you keep the trend look on.

### Do I have to wear the wig and tracksuit?

No. Switch the trend look off and you dance in the clothes from your photo. You can also move the dance from the room to the beach.

### Does it come with the song?

Yes. Your video carries the Toc Toc chorus the trend uses, lined up with the moves. You can still pick the official sound in TikTok instead.

### How long is it and what does it cost?

Eleven seconds, vertical. At the default quality it’s 20 credits, $7.99 as a single video or about $6 out of a credit pack, with one dancer or two. A failed render returns its credits on its own.
